New Year - New Resolutions

It is that time of the year again where some of us will sit down to write down our resolutions for the New Year. As we look back to 2006 on what we have achieved and lost, it is important that we take pride in what we have gained and learned from the experiences for what we have let slipped.
Here's my resolutions for 2007 (I must said some were from 2006 or 2005 or 2004 :P) and I'll be working hard to achieve them.
1. Lose weight and maintain weight at 70kg - according to BMI calculation, this would be my
optimal weight : )
2. Learn swimming - been trying to do this forever!!!
3. Save $$$ (confidential - can't reveal how much I'm going to save :P)
4. Six Sigma and some other management certifications.
5. Get JG5
6. Stop ranting & control my emotion during games - it's just a game : )
Those were the BIG items and I sure will be working hard to ensure I wont carry forward this year's resolution to 2008. Last by not least...HAPPY NEW YEAR ppl!!!

Welcome to the Red,Green & White Parade - Merry XMAS!

Merry X'mas to all the people out there especially for those who reads my blog. I hope that you guys have a unforgetable day today. As for me, here I'm in the office working, well since I have no where to go, I rather come back to office and clear some of my stuff. I prefer to work during wee hours or during holidays as there were less distractions and I can get many things done compared to normal working days.

Going to have small "makan-makan" celebration with my team later...thanks to my grandma for cooking all the nice-nice foods yum yum. Before I sign off...just want to wish everyone happy always and be good to yourself :)

Moving Forward

Well, it has been a while since my last update...been really busy with work...after I got back from the Singapore trip 3 weeks ago I have been busy since then...beside my day-to-day tasks I have been busy with Appreciation Night Dinner, been busy catching up with emails and been busy getting used to my new manager and the changes he is bringing to the team.

Enough about work...I should be putting my mind away from work especially during the weekend. I just want to share some happening stuff that have been going on for the past 2-3 weeks. First of all, for those who knows me should know that I celebrated my birthday (or "bird" day in Leonard's language) 2 weeks ago. It was kinda a memorable one as it is the first time that I have 3 cakes to cut, got 3 condoms and 1 g-string underwear as birthday presents. I guess what's missing is a GAL for me to put those condoms to good use hehehe. Well, I am not going to approach Leonard for Ah Ken's number as I am not as perverted as Leonard...he's the master and I am not even qualified to be his disciple hahaha. Oh ya, thanks to all my staff and frens in the office...thanks for the Braun Buffel wallet as well : )

Well, I must say that the highlight for this year's birthday was the present that I got for myself. Yes, I am pampering myself with a very desirable gift that I have been dreaming for more than a year...wanna guess what's the gift that I am getting myself? Here's some clue, the title of this post says it all! Still clueless? Hahaha...scroll down .

..........I got myself a CAR...yes...I bought a Toyota VIOS!!! Yeah, "You'll Want One". Since there is a year end promotion going with 5k discount and my 10 years old Satria has been consuming petrol like water lately, I just found sufficient motivation to move forward hahaha.

Okay, with the new car and new year looming ahead, I just hope that 2007 would be a better year for me. I would be starting to write out my 2007 resolutions and I don't think that would be too difficult...how difficult is it to copy and paste resolutions from the previous year? *wink wink* hahaha...maybe the #1 resolution for 2007 should be "stop bringing forward previous year's resolutions" hahaha.

Cyberjaya Prima Avenue Basketball Tournament Part 2

Ok...it has been a while since my last update...well, been busy with performance reviews for my staff and my own performance review as well.Went to Singapore last week and had great fun there - more update on this soon hehehe.

Just a quick update on the the basketball tournament in Cyberjaya...Shell IT or better known as KSC (Kelab Shell Cyberjaya) has emerged as the Champions for Cyberjaya Prima Avenue Basketball Tournament. In the semi-final it was a hard-fought victory over DHL, I didn't get much of playing time then as I'm just playing the "kelefe" role in the squad. I can't remember the score but we won it by 10 or 12 points.

Then in the final we played against HSBC and this time around I managed to get 15 mins or more playing time as they were an easier piece of meat compared to DHL. We won the game comfortably with the score of 52 to 25. We got RM340 Padi Restaurant & Oldtown Kopitiam vouchers for winning the tournament. The squad would be coming together again soon but this time around we are not together to play ball but we are together to enjoy our foods :)
no one would say NO to free foods, right? hehehe
